Booking and Refund Policy
This Booking and Refund Policy explains the process for reserving your place in our programs, payment requirements, and the conditions related to cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds at Himalayan Yoga Gram Ashram.

At Himalayan Yoga Gram Ashram, we aim to provide a clear and transparent booking process for all our yoga programs and retreats. Please read the following policy carefully before making a reservation.
1. Booking Confirmation
To reserve a place in any program offered by Himalayan Yoga Gram Ashram, participants must submit a booking request through our website or official communication channels.
A booking is considered confirmed only after the required advance payment has been received and confirmation has been issued by our team via email or message.
Program spaces are limited and bookings are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. Advance Payment
To secure your place in a program, an advance payment of 20% of the total course fee is required.
This advance payment:
- Confirms your participation in the selected program
- Reserves your accommodation and training seat
- Allows us to prepare resources and arrangements for your stay
The remaining balance can be paid upon arrival unless otherwise agreed.
3. Payment Methods
Currently, payments may be made through:
- Bank Transfer
- Cash on Arrival
In the future, we may introduce additional payment options such as:
- PayPal
- Stripe
- Wise
- Razorpay
Participants are responsible for any international transfer fees or bank charges.
4. Cancellation Policy
If a participant cancels their booking after paying the advance deposit, the deposit is non-refundable.
Due to financial regulations affecting international transactions, refunds may not always be possible once payments are processed.
5. Rescheduling Policy
Although advance payments are non-refundable, participants may reschedule their program within 6 months from the original start date.
Rescheduling is subject to:
- Program availability
- Advance notice to our team
- Confirmation from Himalayan Yoga Gram Ashram
After 6 months, unused credits will expire and cannot be transferred or refunded.
6. Late Arrival or Early Departure
Participants who arrive late or leave before the completion of the program will not be eligible for refunds or credits for the missed portion of the program.
We strongly encourage participants to plan their travel arrangements carefully.
7. Program Changes
Himalayan Yoga Gram Ashram reserves the right to modify:
- Program schedules
- Teachers or instructors
- Accommodation arrangements
- Daily activities
These adjustments may occur due to unforeseen circumstances or to improve the overall experience.
8. Cancellation by the Ashram
In rare cases where Himalayan Yoga Gram Ashram must cancel a program due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered:
- An option to reschedule to another available program, or
- Credit for a future program
9. Travel and Insurance
Participants are responsible for arranging their own:
- Travel bookings
- Visa requirements
- Travel insurance
- Health insurance
We recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical emergencies, and travel disruptions.
