Where is Himalayan Yoga Gram Located?
Our Ashram is located at Kottamala 3rd Division, Idukki, Kerala, India.
We have schools in Kerala, India and Pokhara, Nepal.
What style of yoga is taught at Himalayan Yoga Gram Ashram?
We primarily teach traditional Hatha Yoga, complemented by elements of Vinyasa and Kundalini. Our approach focuses on alignment, breath control, and meditation to create a well-rounded yoga practice.
Is this Yoga Teacher Training Course certified by Yoga Alliance International or any other recognized organization?
Yes, our courses are certified by Yoga Alliance International (USA), an internationally recognized organization. After completing the course, you can register as a certified yoga teacher on their platform.
What does a typical day look like during the yoga teacher training course?
A typical day includes 6 daily classes covering asanas, pranayama, meditation, philosophy, anatomy, and teaching methodology. You will also have time for meals, study, and rest in our serene ashram environment.
What should I bring with me for the yoga teacher training course?
Essentials include comfortable yoga clothing, a yoga mat (athough mats are provided), notebook, water bottle, toiletries, and any personal items. We recommend bringing sunscreen, insect repellent, and a light jacket for the cooler evenings.
Can I teach yoga professionally after completing this course?
Yes! Completing our Yoga Alliance International certified course qualifies you to teach yoga professionally anywhere in the world.
Are there any prerequisites or prior experience required for the 200-hour courses?
No prior experience is required for the 200-hour course beginners are very welcome.

How to book the yoga teacher training course or retreats at Himalayan Yoga Ashram?
You can contact us via Email at info@himalayanyogagram.com, fill out the booking form at our site or by WhatsApp. We will try to reach you as early as possible.
What is your booking & refund policy?
To secure your reservation at Himalayan Yoga Gram Ashram, an advance payment of 20% of the total program fee is required. This advance payment confirms your booking and reserves your place in the selected program.
Please note that Himalayan Yoga Gram Ashram follows a strict no-refund policy due to Nepal Government and Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) regulations, which restrict the transfer of funds abroad.
However, your advance payment will be held as credit for up to 6 months from your originally scheduled arrival date. During this period, you may reschedule your program based on availability. After 6 months, the credit will expire and become void.
